Quotations for the respective insurance premium are available and based on the value of each particular memorial by contacting the company. Given the current climate of insurance risks and public liabilities this is a recommended service.

We can also provide a full renovation service for existing marble, stone and granite headstones. This can include cleaning, re-fixing and repairing, as well as ongoing care.
Ceramic photo plaques and laser-etch photographs.
In all instances you will get your original photograph back. The better the quality of photograph we start with will mean the better quality end result.
We can remove backgrounds if requested; there may be an additional charge for this depending on complexity.
We can laser-etch directly onto black granite, for other colours we would complete the image onto a plaque and the fix that to the memorial.
Draft images can be supplied upon request.

Our standard memorial comes with a headstone size of 2ft 3" high, 1ft 9" wide and 3" thick. They come complete with base stone measuring 24" by 12" by 3". All memorials can be smaller or larger than the standard size, up to a maximum permitted by the churchyard or burial authority. Most cemetery authorities restrict measurements to 4ft high by 3ft wide.
Not all burial authorities allow kerbs. Where kerbs are allowed most Burial Authorities have a maximum permitted size for curbs usually 36 inches wide and 84 inches long to the outside edges. Different profiles and mouldings can be incorporated in to the basic square profile with the addition of posts and vases. Cover slabs Splayed tablets and scrolls can be incorporated as well
Prior to any order commencing we will send you a picture of your memorial with the design and inscription as it will appear for your approval. You will receive your order form with full cost, a customer confirmation form and a cemetery form. Only when you are ready to go ahead will a deposit be required and any cemetery fees due.
Yorkshire Memorials will not process your order until it has received a permit passed by the burial authority following submission of a right to erect application.
The start date for when memorials have been ordered is following receipt of Burial Authority permit and when the initial deposit has been received and not from when the initial enquiry was made. Memorials not in stock can take on average 12 weeks to arrive plus 4 to 6 weeks for ourselves to complete.
4 to 6 weeks following receipt of burial authority permit and satisfactory site stability.
The responsibility for landscaping the burial area is down to the customer and burial authority.
