Cemetery fees are payable to the Burial Authority for the right to erect a memorial and vary in price between different authorities.
Pricing starts from £700 for a standard Black memorial. This includes Flower hole and container, 100 letters cut and enamelled (silver) and fixing in any Leeds cemetery. For more detailed information and prices please contact us.
The memorial will be fixed on a 460mm by 920mm concrete foundation slab and a Terrazzo foundation base, with an approved ground anchor system when required by the church or cemetery authority.
Larger concrete foundation (1220mm by 920mm) with the price dependent on the level of concealment. Gold leaf letters are an extra 30 pence (£0.30) on the first 100 letters.
For orders over 100 letters then Sand blast cut and enamel lettering is an additional £1.50 per letter, Sand blast cut and guild lettering is an additional £1.80 per letter. Hand cut letters. Yorkshire memorials will deal with all the formalities for submitting an application to the burial authority. Subject to verification of the applicant being the correct signature for the grave owner A permit will be issued granting permission to erect a memorial on the burial plot. Note. The Grave owner or successors in title has to sign this application. Prospective customers should check with the Cemetery or church Yard Authority as to who is the grave owner. If the grave owner is deceased the grave may be legally transferred to a legitimate person by completion of the relevant transfer forms available from the burial authority. This will eliminate delays in ordering.
